Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit payments efficiently.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience.
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume hospitality settings; prior restaurant or food service experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer brewing processes.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport quickly.
- Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management.
- Experience in beverage recipe development and a passion for creating innovative drinks is highly desirable.
- Hospitality industry experience including banquet or catering service is a plus.

Pay: $21.97 - $26.46 per hour
