The Krochmal Center for Plastic Surgery, an upscale surgical practice and medical spa in Hinsdale, is hiring a full-time Aesthetician/Medical Assistant to join our growing team.
This hybrid role blends two career paths: delivering medical-grade skin treatments under your Illinois aesthetician license (the primary focus) and supporting our surgeon and patients as a Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in a med spa, plastic surgery, or dermatology office, an active Illinois aesthetician license, and a warm, can-do attitude.
What you'll do:
· Perform facials, peels, microneedling, laser, and other medical-grade skin treatments
· Educate patients on skincare routines and recommend medical-grade products
· Engage in business development and marketing activities to grow the med spa
· Promote surgical and non-surgical services through personal knowledge and effective communication
· Room patients, take photos, and prepare exam/progress notes
· Assist the surgeon with exams, procedure setup, and patient care directives (dressings, garments, numbing agents, etc.)
· Maintain sterile, well-stocked treatment and exam rooms
· Support front-line patient communication (calls, messages, EMR documentation)
Requirements:
· Active Illinois aesthetician license
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a med spa, plastic surgery, or dermatology practice
· Excellent interpersonal skills and professional presentation
· Interest in and mastery of social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok
