Position Overview
Living Advantage, Inc. is seeking someone that has high call volume experience and is an expert in telephone relations. They are a confident, and highly motivated PR & Marketing Coordinator able to support the organization’s public relations, marketing, outreach, and brand-building efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable building relationships, following up consistently, securing donors, corporate sponsors and representing the LA, Inc. brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
Public Relations & Outreach
- Make frequent outbound calls to partners, donors, sponsors, media contacts, influencers, vendors, and community supporters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals, organizations, businesses, and public figures who can support LA, Inc.’s mission.
- Secure marketing opportunities, speaking opportunities, influencer partnerships, event collaborations, and brand exposure.
- Securing media and influencers
Marketing & Brand Management
- Assist in creating marketing campaigns that increase donors and corporate sponsors for LA, Inc.’s programs, services, events, and fundraising efforts.
- Develop marketing materials, flyers, social media graphics, email content, and promotional assets using Canva.
Social Media & Digital Communications
- Light support such as assisting with a clear influencer strategy to influencers, public figures, community leaders, and celebrities with large platforms, ideally including individuals with 1 million+ followers who may repost, endorse, attend, or help promote the book and campaign.
Website & Content Management
- Update and manage website content through Wix, including events, stories, campaigns, donation pages, program updates, and announcements.
- Assist with writing and posting blogs, news stories, event recaps, and promotional updates.
Event Planning & Community Engagement
Supporting events such as Mixer that Matters, Annual Donor Event, Beverley Hills Clothing Drive
Administrative & Data Management
- Maintain accurate contact lists, outreach trackers, sponsor lists, media lists, influencer lists, and follow-up records.
- Enter and update information in databases, spreadsheets, CRM systems, and contact management platforms.
- Track calls, emails, responses, next steps, commitments, and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in PR, marketing, communications, sales, donor relations, , outreach, development, or a related field.
- Powerful phone communication skills and confidence making a high volume of calls. Will need references.
- Proven ability to build relationships, make connections, and follow up professionally.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing.
- Experience creating marketing content using Canva.
- Experience updating and managing websites, preferably Wix.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry, contact management, and tracking outreach.
- Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through.
- Ability to represent the organization professionally with partners, donors, influencers, media contacts, and community members.
- Comfortable negotiating partnerships, sponsorships, event support, donated services, and promotional opportunities.
Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
