We are seeking a talented and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our dedicated team at Aspire Senior Living Carthage. As a Occupational Therapist (OTR), you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing high-quality occupational therapy services.
As an Occupational Therapist (OTR) with Aspire Senior Living Carthage, you will be responsible for:
Evaluating and assessing the occupational therapy needs of our residents
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being
Providing education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on various topics, including safety, mobility, and adaptive equipment use
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of services provided
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide occupational therapy interventions, including adaptive equipment training, sensory integration techniques, and cognitive rehabilitation
Educate and empower residents, families, and caregivers to provide ongoing support and care
Maintain accurate and thorough records of services provided, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
Participate in interprofessional team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
