Direct Care Worker (DCW)
Part-Time | Afternoon Schedule
Blue Mountain Developmental Programs is seeking a dependable, compassionate Direct Care Worker to provide one-on-one support for an adult in the West Valley.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others, and understands the importance of being reliable, engaged, and respectful.
Schedule
- Approximately 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- 5–6 days per week
- Consistent weekly schedule
What You'll Do
- Assist with daily living activities and household tasks
- Encourage independence and community involvement
- Maintain a clean, organized home environment
- Complete required documentation
- Follow the individual's support plan
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Dependable and punctual
- Compassionate and patient
- Self-motivated and able to stay productive throughout the shift
- Comfortable working independently
- Professional, respectful, and trustworthy
Requirements
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Current CPR/First Aid and Article 9 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus but not required
