We are actively hiring for the position of Water Spider for our plant in Van Nuys, CA
Shift: 3rd shift – Sunday to Thursday 9:30pm-6am
Duties & Responsibilities
Water Spider Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Remove any label/vinyl waste off production floor and check the paper recycle bins to ensure there isn’t any label/vinyl waste product.

Move pallets of Fed-Ex ground off the production floor and into the Fed-Ex trailer.
-
Organize jobs in Bindery department by sorting and staging in correct area by department and due date.
-
Assist with jogging paper for Cutter Operators when needed.

Ensure that the production floor is swept and aisle ways free of obstructions.
-
Report all workplace hazards to management immediately.
-
Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.

Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.

Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Good problem-solving and organizational skills

Attention to detail.

Ability to read, write, speak & understand English.

Ability to communicate effectively with management and co-workers.

Ability to use hand/power tools and safe use of them.

Ability to multitask with changing priorities.

Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions.
-
At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements

Able to lift up to 50lbs (50% of time)

Able to stand for 8 hours
