Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail applications, and nail extensions with precision and care
- Apply nail art techniques utilizing color theory to create customized designs that meet client preferences
- Conduct sanitation and disinfection procedures in accordance with salon safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Educate clients on proper nail care, maintenance, and retail product recommendations to enhance their experience
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide professional advice, and upsell retail products or additional services
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and tools following disinfection procedures to uphold salon standards
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques such as dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology required
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a manicurist or nail technician preferred
- Strong knowledge of color theory, nail extensions (including acrylics), gel manicures, and manicure techniques
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client communication skills
- Ability to perform advanced services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling or hair extensions is a plus but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell retail products confidently
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients and team members

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
