We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the highest quality ice cream production, from preparing ingredients to maintaining equipment and workspaces. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of ice cream bases, mix-ins, toppings, baked goods, and house-made cones.
- Operate ice cream spinning equipment to ensure smooth and consistent production.
- Portion and pack pints accurately while maintaining presentation and quality standards.
- Help with cleaning, cutting, and preparing fruit for production
- Make baked goods, from measuring to portioning and final baking processes
- Help prepare and making toppings for FOH use
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including storage areas, dishwashing, and equipment upkeep.
- Follow food safety protocols and company standards to ensure all products meet quality expectations.
- Keep accurate records of production, ingredient inventory, and cleaning checklists.
- Work efficiently with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of ice cream machines and kitchen equipment.
- Support overall kitchen operations by assisting with various tasks as needed.
- Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen, bakery, or food production environment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately.
- Morning shifts only
- Comfortable working with food processing equipment and kitchen tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
