Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Utilize our reservation platform OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables smoothly during peak hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, check splitting, and cash handling responsibilities
- Experience with restaurant software like OpenTable for reservations management is advantageous
