(2) Full Time (37.5hrs. week), Varied evening shifts available-3pm-11pm.
(1) Full Time (37.5 hours week) Varied day shifts available. 6:30am-3pm, including every other weekend and Holiday rotation.
The primary purpose of your job is to assist residents with their personal care and administration of medications.
Overall Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Resident Care:

Assists residents with personal care and activities of daily living (ADL’s) as per the Individual Service Plan.

Assists in observing overall health status of residents and informing the Director or designee of issues.

Safeguards medical records of residents, maintains confidentiality and upholds resident rights.

Assists with recreational activities, as needed.

Assists residents and dining services staff during meal service.

Answers resident emergency call system promptly, evaluates the situation and resolves as needed, including contacting emergency personnel and/or physicians and families, and arranging for transportation for treatment as necessary.

Listens and responds to residents’ concerns and reports issues to the proper discipline.
Medication Administration:

Assists with the administration of medications and treatments as per MD orders and documents assistance in accordance with HAP policies and procedures.

Assists with inventory, ordering and proper storage of medications.
Housekeeping:
- Perform light housekeeping in apartments and common areas as needed.

Assists with linen changes and personal laundry weekly and as needed per care schedule.
Education & Experience:
-
1-2 years’ experience working as a Medication Aide in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Home Care or Skill Nursing Setting field required.

High school diploma or GED required.

Certification as an HHA or PCA is not required but can be helpful.
Pay Range: $17.50hr-$21.50hr. *Experienced based pay.
*Generous Shift Differentials offered.
