Duties
- Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Load and unload freight with precision using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company policies.
- Manage delivery schedules by planning optimal routes for timely arrivals at multiple destinations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status and any issues encountered during routes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with route driving responsibilities.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating various truck types such as tractor-trailers or tanker trucks.
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual transmission vehicles.
- Experience operating specialized equipment like forklifts or dump trucks is a plus.
- Knowledge of load securing techniques for flatbed and refrigerated freight.
- Ability to handle different trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks safely and efficiently.

Pay: $24.80 - $29.86 per hour
