American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Neurology Clinic position in the Eureka, CA area, with Epic experience strongly preferred and a CA RN license required.

Outpatient Neurology Clinic setting — this is not an inpatient or bedside role
-
Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
-
No weekend or on-call requirements

Typical weekly workload includes approximately 8 infusion orders, 50 refills, 15–20 prior authorizations, 50 patient calls/MyChart advice messages, and 15–20 office visits

MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) is used as a screening tool for detecting mild cognitive impairment

Charting is done in Epic
-
Floating between all facilities within the state may be required
-
Active CA RN license currently in hand (pending licensure not accepted)

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Experience in neurology and/or infusion nursing is highly preferred
-
At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Responsibilities include managing infusion orders, medication refills, prior authorizations, patient phone calls and MyChart advice messages, and supporting office visits

Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning in a travel capacity, and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
