Nex-Tech is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician I to monitor and support network systems that deliver critical services to our customers. This role provides first-level troubleshooting and ensures network performance and uptime.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced, 24/7 operations environment.
- Monitor network systems for alarms, outages, and performance issues
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Open, update, and escalate trouble tickets as needed
- Communicate with internal teams, customers, and vendors during incidents
- Support network maintenance activities and scheduled events
- Document issues, actions, and resolutions accurately
- Assist with reporting and daily network status updates
- Respond to inbound requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Basic understanding of networking concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow processes and respond to alerts quickly
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Required: High school diploma or equivalent with some experience in network monitoring or technical support (or equivalent training).
