Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Director to lead our facilities maintenance operations with energy and precision. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the maintenance department, fostering a proactive safety culture and high-performance team environment.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to optimize equipment uptime and lifecycle management.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Supervise the maintenance of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, schematics interpretation, and industrial machinery to ensure operational excellence.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, emergency repairs, and continuous improvement projects across manufacturing facilities.
- Manage vendor relationships for parts procurement, equipment upgrades, and specialized services such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems.
- Monitor maintenance budgets, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on departmental performance to senior leadership.
Experience
- Extensive management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments.
- Proven supervisory experience leading diverse teams of technicians and engineers in high-stakes settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical expertise including working with schematics, ohmmeters, and troubleshooting high/low voltage systems.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and industrial automation systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, facilities management practices, and safety regulations related to high voltage and electrical work.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead complex maintenance projects from planning through execution.
