Job Description:
Mud Logger position supporting drilling operations in the Permian Basin. This role focuses on monitoring wellsite geological and drilling data, maintaining accurate records, and communicating key findings to the drilling team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor drilling parameters and mud logging data during drilling operations
- Collect, describe, and document cuttings samples at required intervals
- Maintain accurate mud logs, reports, and wellsite documentation
- Track gas readings and other relevant indicators and report anomalies
- Communicate observations and operational updates to the drilling team
Skills and Qualifications:
- Mud logging experience in drilling operations
- Familiarity with Permian Basin drilling environments
- Ability to accurately document and report wellsite data
- Working knowledge of drilling parameters, gas detection, and sample description
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with the drilling team
Location: Permian Basin
Pay: $350/day, $55/day per diem
Pay: $350.00 per day
