We are introducing several new product lines to North America as part of our global expansion, and are seeking several additions to our veteran team.
Position Summary:
This position supports the day-to-day operational activities for all manufacturing areas within Pfisterer N.A. and is responsible for overseeing and optimizing production processes across all product lines. They will coach and support a team of engineers and technicians to improve efficiency, ensure product quality, and implement cost-saving measures. Other duties include designing manufacturing process, troubleshooting quality issues, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring safety and quality compliance with industry standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Primary focus (~75% of time) will be supporting daily operations, new product implementation, process improvements, and new equipment installation for the COM business.
· Secondary focus (~25% of time) will be supporting daily operations, process improvements, and driving cost savings projects for the OHL business.
· Responsible for creating and maintaining process documentation (Work Instructions, BOMs & Routings, quality data collection forms, etc.)
· Responsible for measuring and monitoring equipment performance using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
· Collaboration with Operations Supervision and Operators to ensure reliable and repeatable manufacturing processes are understood and documented.
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
1. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
2. Must have experience in Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering.
3. Must have experience in a formal quality, environmental or safety work environment such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
4. Computer skills such as Microsoft-based products like Excel. Must be comfortable with ERP systems like SAP and the management of BOMs and Routings within that software.
5. Competent in presenting results of work to international peers and colleagues.
6. Lean Six-Sigma qualifications preferred, but not mandatory.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
