The Arborist Climber plays a key role on the Tree Work Crew, leading daily operations, ensuring safe and efficient completion of tree care projects, and mentoring team members. Lead and work collaboratively with the Tree Work Crew to complete assigned tree care tasks safely and efficiently

Perform a variety of arboriculture activities, including tree diagnosis, climbing, pruning, removal, stump grinding, and planting

Install tree support systems such as cabling, bracing, tying, bolting, staking, and guying

Supervise and train crew members in proper tree trimming and safety procedures

Collect and manage debris from tree trimming and removal operations, ensuring a clean and safe work zone

Maintain and operate specialized equipment, including chippers, stump grinders, and chainsaws

Participate in the maintenance of gear, tools, and equipment both in the field and at the shop

Consistently adhere to ANSI and company safety guidelines

Minimum of 1 year of experience in arboriculture or related field

Experience with tree climbing, pruning, removal, and use of arborist equipment

Knowledge of safe operation and maintenance of chippers, stump grinders, and chainsaws

Proficiency in knot tying and rigging techniques used in tree work

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Commitment to ongoing skill development and professional growth; certification as an Arborist is a plus

Valid drivers license; CDL is a plus
$24 - $29 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime opportunities available.
