Job Description
Shriners Children's Philadelphia has an opportunity for a per diem Radiology Tech to join our team!
The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients. This may include fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.
Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury.
Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.
Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.
Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events.

Required Responsibilities:
High school diploma/GED
Associate's in Radiologic Technology or Certificate in Radiologic Technology
Must be a graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
Must hold both the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification/registration
Must be Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association
Preferred Responsibilities:
The pay range for this position is $35.37 - $53.05. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
