We are growing and looking to add a dental assistant to join our fast growing practice and to part of our dedicated, wonderful team! We are looking for a positive, self motivated, friendly individual who is passionate about providing patients with great dental care.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare and tear down treatment rooms for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols
- Prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Provide information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests
- Provide post-operative and post-treatment instructions to patients
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials
- Take alginate impressions, pour and trim models, prepare cases for outside lab
- Assist Dental Hygienists when needed
- Coronal polishing
-Sealants
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to office infection-control policies and HIPPA
- Maintain dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level
- Schedule appointments
- Occasional front desk duties
- All other duties assigned
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Registered Dental Assistant +1 year experience is preferred
Radiology Certified
Excellent communication and people skills
