Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and hand tools to minimize downtime.
- Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other repair tasks to maintain the hotel’s aesthetic and structural integrity.
- Use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Ohmmeters to diagnose electrical faults accurately.
- Maintain facilities equipment including boilers, pumps, motors, and other critical infrastructure using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Supervise or assist with maintenance painting projects and ensure compliance with safety standards during all repair activities.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs efficiently while providing excellent customer service to guests and staff.
Skills
- Extensive mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting diverse systems.
- Proficiency with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for effective repairs.
- Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair, including plumbing system troubleshooting.
- Experience with HVAC system repair, including diagnosing issues within heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with maintenance painting techniques suitable for residential or commercial interiors.
- Supervising experience in facilities or maintenance teams is preferred; leadership skills are highly valued.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
