American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and required Aria and TrueBeam proficiency for an adult outpatient oncology clinic setting.

Adult outpatient clinic setting treating patients ranging from benign disease to cancer diagnoses (99% outpatient, 1% inpatient)
-
External beam therapy is the primary treatment modality
-
Special procedures include SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery) and SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)

Average daily census of 25 patients with a 1:1 therapist-to-room ratio

Uses Aria/ARIA and Epic for electronic medical records and record & verify systems

Uses TrueBeam linear accelerator

Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
-
13-week contract with no float, call, or weekend requirements

ARRT (T) certification required
-
BLS preferred
-
Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required

Hands-on experience with Aria and TrueBeam is required

Adult outpatient setting experience required
-
External beam therapy experience required

License required if applicable

Two professional references from a manager or supervisor within the past 12 months are highly preferred — pending references at time of consideration are acceptable but must be provided prior to start

No facility orientation or dimensions training required — traveler begins working directly in the clinic

Preferred experience includes CT simulation, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, IMRT, respiratory gating, SRS, SBRT, and treatment of benign brain tumors, keloids, prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials, and heterotopic bone

Vision RT experience is preferred

Royal blue scrubs required; scrubs are not provided by the facility

Pre-start online modules are required (approximately 4–5 hours for non-acute roles) and must be completed annually

Candidate must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays

RTO is not permitted during the first week of assignment; up to 7 days of RTO may be approved provided it does not fall on a holiday — additional RTO requires facility approval

Previous permanent, PRN, or EP staff employees of this health system must wait 12 months before being considered as a traveler; facility rehire approval is required

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply

Travel pairs are welcome but must have independent transportation and be comfortable with potentially different schedules
