Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper / Facility Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our entire office space. Your approach and commitment to excellence will ensure that all spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and safety, contributing to a positive experience for staff, clients, and visitors alike. This position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to be an essential part of a dedicated facilities maintenance team.
Duties
- Perform deep cleaning throughout the office
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all flooring
- Dust furniture, desks, shelving, windowsills, and office equipment
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Replace trash liners and supplies as needed
- Clean break rooms, kitchen areas, appliances, and sinks
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces including door handles, keyboards, tables, light switches, and shared equipment
- Clean interior glass, mirrors, and entryways
- Maintain conference rooms and executive offices
- Organize and maintain janitorial supplies
- Report maintenance issues or supply shortages
- Assist with occasional cleaning projects before company events or meetings
- Ensure the facility maintains a professional appearance at all times
Skills
- Prior commercial cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout an 8-hour shift
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience cleaning offices, warehouses, or commercial facilities
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices
- Experience using commercial cleaning equipment is a plus
Compensation
$15.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
