We’re looking for a reliable, upbeat, and clinically strong Medical Assistant who thrives in a busy environment and genuinely enjoys taking great care of people.
What You’ll Do
As a Medical Assistant, you’ll be a key part of the provider team and the patient experience. Your role spans clinical care, patient flow, procedures, and communication.
Core Responsibilities

Support providers during medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology visits.

Room patients efficiently, collect histories, document chief complaints, and assist with full visit prep.

Perform clinical tasks including vitals, numbing, wound care, suture removals, injections (as trained/allowed), dressing changes, and specimen handling.

Assist with procedures such as biopsies, excisions, ED&C, Mohs repairs, cosmetic services, and laser/energy-based treatments (based on assignment and training).

Maintain smooth patient flow by anticipating provider needs, turning rooms, and keeping visits on track.

Document accurately in Modernizing Medicine (EMA) and communicate with patients through Klara for follow-ups, instructions, and care coordination.

Sterilize and stage instruments and maintain clean, safe, procedure-ready rooms.

Deliver patient education on treatment plans, post-op care, medications, and skincare routines.

Partner with team members across front office, clinical staff, Mohs, and cosmetology to ensure a seamless experience.

Follow protocols for HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and clinic safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
Required
High School Diploma or GED

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical experience
Strong communication skills and a calm, professional bedside manner

Comfortable in a fast-paced clinic with high standards for accuracy and efficiency

Dependable, teachable, and team-oriented

Preferred (Not Required)
Dermatology experience

Familiarity with Modernizing Medicine (EMA) and/or Klara
CMA/RMA certification

Dermatology experience is a plus, but not required. We’re happy to train the right person with strong fundamentals and a great attitude.
