Description:
We are looking for a Production Manager to lead and oversee operations at our Arizona facility within a manufacturing environment. This role is accountable for driving operational efficiency, achieving production targets, upholding quality standards, and managing a high-performing team. The Production Manager will execute responsibilities directly or through supervisory staff to ensure reliable, on-time production outcomes.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations.

Establish priorities, workflows, and production sequences to meet delivery commitments.

Track daily production metrics and ensure adherence to schedules.

Lead daily production meetings and communicate updates across departments.

Allocate labor and resources effectively across MT/MC, ME, and MG departments.

Coordinate with Sales and Shipping regarding production status and potential issues.

Ensure 100% on-time delivery through scheduling and resource planning.

Open and close the facility, ensuring operational readiness and security.

Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop employees.
-
Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.

Cross-train team members to improve efficiency and flexibility.

Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.

Build strong team morale and promote collaboration.

Maintain flexible work schedules when necessary to meet production goals.

Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to develop and refine operational standards.

Monitor processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Identify and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues.

Maintain accurate production and employee performance records.

Review and approve employee timecards.

Schedule vacations to maintain staffing levels and production targets.

Maintain communication across all departments and with senior leadership.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and best practices.
