The Role
As a Server at Layaly, you are the primary touchpoint of the guest experience. You don’t just take orders—you lead the table, set the tone, and represent our brand with confidence and professionalism.
We expect our servers to:
- Build trust quickly with guests
- Understand timing, pacing, and energy
- Create repeat customers, not just one-time checks
- Take ownership of the guest experience from greeting to farewell
This role is for people who take hospitality seriously and see serving as a skill—not a filler job.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Delivering warm, confident, professional greetings every time
- Guiding guests through the menu with intention and strong recommendations
- Accurately taking orders and communicating clearly with the kitchen and bar
- Reading tables and anticipating needs before guests ask
- Handling requests, concerns, and curveballs with composure and maturity
- Maintaining a clean, organized, high-standard section
- Supporting the team and contributing to smooth service flow
- Upholding Layaly’s service standards, culture, and reputation
