Job Overview
We are seeking a Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision, creativity, and efficiency. Your will help deliver exceptional dining experiences by adhering to recipes, safety standards, and cleanliness protocols. We perfer some experience, but we will train the right fit even with no kitchen history.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and food processors.
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and seasonal specials that align with restaurant themes.
- Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation, timing, and serving for optimal customer satisfaction.
- Keep the work area clean and organized by following cleaning schedules and sanitation standards.
Little D's
We are a small restaurant in North Asheville that focuses heavily on our local guests. There are 11 tables and a bar in our intimate setting. The team is small so personality and the ablitliy to get along and work well with others is paramount. We are located at 952 Merrimon Ave, next to the Fresh Market in North Asheville.
This role will start on cold side with the ablitiy to grow and cross train on grill and sautee.
Experience is perferred, but not required.
This role starts at $21 an hour.
Applicant must be able to lift 50lbs and stand on their feet for long shifts.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
