Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. Female owned private practice with all women staff. Small office feel. Established patient base.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques throughout all procedures.
- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant medical history accurately.
- Assist with pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience for children during their appointments.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care in general dentistry settings.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before patient discharge.
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems is preferred. We currently use XLDent. Will train in! Super easy to use
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience in infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and work collaboratively with the dental team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary for documentation review and patient care.
