Outside Sales Representative – Kubota Equipment
Unkefer Sales | Minerva, OH | Covering Stark, Carroll, Columbiana & Tuscarawas Counties
Base Salary: $35,000 + Uncapped Commission | Realistic First-Year Earnings: $100,000+
Unkefer Sales is a Kubota dealership serving hardworking families, farms, and businesses across NE Ohio. We're looking for a driven, coachable outside salesperson to build relationships, grow our territory, and sell the equipment our customers depend on to run their operations.
What You'll Do
- Drive your territory to meet farmers, contractors, and property owners where they work
- Learn our full Kubota equipment lineup — we'll train you on the product
- Quote and invoice deals using our dealer systems (training provided)
- Build long-term relationships that keep customers coming back for years, not just one sale
- Follow up relentlessly — texts, calls, and check-ins after hours are part of how we win business
- Work a full week including half-day Saturdays, because that's when our customers are free
What We're Looking For
- A proven hunter — someone who has generated their own results in a past sales or commission-based role
- Comfortable in a rural, blue-collar environment — you don't need a farm background, but you can't be a stranger to one
- A track record of sticking with something — we want builders, not job-hoppers
- Competitive, self-motivated, and not afraid of a straight-commission upside
- Fluent and comfortable with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) as part of daily work — not a nice-to-have, a requirement
- Disciplined CRM habits — every lead, quote, and follow-up gets logged, no exceptions
- No equipment sales experience required — we'd rather teach the product to the right person than hire the wrong resume
Compensation & Growth
$35,000 base salary plus uncapped commission on every unit sold. Most reps who put in the work are realistically earning $100,000+ within their first year. This is a career, not a job — top performers grow with the dealership.
