Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one or more carpentry scopes including drywall/metal studs, acoustical ceilings, toilet partitions and accessories. This role requires a commitment to quality craftsmanship and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Carpenter will be responsible for building, assembling, and installing per construction plans.
Duties
- Remove and/or install acoustical ceilings, drywall/metal studs, and toilet portions/accessories according to plans.
- Communicate with other crew members to ensure project is run according to plans.
- Work in both a timely and quality oriented manner to keep clients happy.
- Keep working space clean and ensure equipment is accounted for.
- Follow OSHA guidelines ensuring a safe workplace.
- Lift heavy construction material as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with carpentry work.
- Familiarity with construction site safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
