Entry-Level Mechanic / Equipment Technician (Full-Time)
Location: South Florida
Are you mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn a skilled trade? We're looking for a motivated, high-energy individual to join our team as a Full-Time Entry-Level Mechanic. No experience is required—we provide all the training you need to succeed.
This is a hands-on position working outdoors in the South Florida climate, maintaining and repairing commercial street sweeping equipment and support vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on street sweeper trucks and equipment
- Replace worn or damaged parts on sweepers
- Complete daily and weekly truck inspections
- Assist with repairs and maintenance on skid steers and other equipment
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, greasing, and other preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and report mechanical issues to senior technicians
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and standards
- Operation of sweeper trucks (Training provided)
Qualifications
- No mechanic experience required – we will train the right candidate
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic with dependable attendance
- High-energy individual who enjoys working with their hands
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in South Florida's heat, humidity, rain, and changing weather conditions
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime during busy seasons
- Valid driver's license REQUIRED
