As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Freight Loader to join our warehouse and logistics team.
Position Overview
As a Freight Loader, you will be responsible for preparing freight for transportation, loading and unloading shipments, organizing materials, and helping maintain an efficient warehouse operation. Your work will directly contribute to accurate and timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Arrange freight to maximize space while preventing damage during transport.
- Verify shipment quantities against packing lists and shipping documents.
- Inspect freight for visible damage and report discrepancies promptly.
- Move products using pallet jacks or other approved warehouse equipment.
- Stage shipments for outgoing transportation.
- Maintain organized loading docks and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory movement and warehouse organization.
- Follow company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
- Work closely with warehouse staff and drivers to meet daily shipping schedules.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in freight handling, warehousing, logistics, shipping, receiving, material handling, or general labor is helpful but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and move merchandise throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically active environment.
- Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
- Willingness to learn new equipment and warehouse procedures.

Pay: $21.90 - $22.70 per hour
