JOB DESCRIPTION: A Dump Truck Drivers transports materials like dirt, gravel and construction debris to and from jobsites. They operate heavy duty trucks ensuring safe and efficient delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Driving dump trucks to and from job sites, transporting various materials like dirt, gravel, construction debris and/or waste materials.
- Loading and unloading materials, safely securing loads for transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of loads delivered.
- Perform and maintain daily routine checks /logs on dump trucks such as checking fluids and tire pressure and reporting any mechanical issues to the maintenance department.
- Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized manner.
- Communicate with dispatchers and field personnel for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Cooperating with other equipment operators and construction personnel at the job site.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading techniques to avoid damage to the truck and the surrounding environment.

Operate the truck safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- May need to occasionally lift and help clear areas at jobsite when needed.
- Exhibit “defensive” driver skills

Report any incidents, accidents, injuries or mechanical failures to management in a timely manner.
