Position Summary
As a CNC Machine Operator I, you will operate CNC and other manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality dental instrument components. Responsibilities include performing inspections, maintaining production documentation, monitoring quality standards, and supporting daily production goals while following all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC and manufacturing equipment according to work instructions, specifications, and blueprints.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure quality workmanship and identify defects or contamination.
- Conduct dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Complete parts inspection logs and production documentation accurately.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical drawings.
- Learn and apply machine offsets to maintain product specifications.
- Record production, quality, and safety metrics on production boards.
- Calculate cycle times and production rates.
- Use scales to weigh and count production parts.
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and gage tables.
- Clean machines and surrounding work areas according to company standards.
- Remove machining chips and dispose of materials properly when required.
- Record and verify Heat Lot numbers for material traceability.
- Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
- Support a culture of teamwork, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of CNC, machining, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
- Entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of measuring tools and inspection processes.
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints or technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good organizational skills and commitment to workplace cleanliness.
