OFFICE MANAGER FOR FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY PRIVATE PRACTICE

Forensic Psychology and Neuropsychology Services, PC and Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Associates is a private, neuropsychology and psychology practice providing forensic psychological and neuropsychological evaluation services, as well as clinical services. Our primary office location is in Florham Park, NJ.
We are seeking an experienced office manager with a minimum of five years’ experience in mental health, medical or law office management. An LSW or LCSW social worker with at least 3 years of recent mental health management experience, or a law office manager, or a medical office manager open to a practice that does not do EHR and has a separate billing/finance department would be a good fit. This person will assist in growing the practice from both HR and marketing standpoints.
Must be excellent in multi-tasking, a team player and oriented to supporting the owner’s vision for the practice, highly organized, be highly communicate with director and management team and able to keep team members in the loop as directed, and able to manage a growing administrative and clinical team.
- Assists the director in clinical and administrative hiring.
- Responsible for ensuring staff adherence to office policies and procedures and provides assistance and supervision to front office staff.
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all office work.
- Supervises administrative team’s daily activities and provides ongoing feedback regarding employees’ work performance to the Director.
- Serves as primary liaison to vendors to ensure smooth daily operation of the office.
- Communicates professionally and effectively with referral sources, patients, clinical staff, administrative team, and Director, alike.
- Assists with upkeep of professional records, including HIPAA compliance, credentialing, licensing or re-licensing requirements, and other practice-specific forms.
- Ensures thorough documentation of contracts with other agencies and vendors.
- Responsible for knowing and maintaining procedural manuals for office policies and HR policies.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not mandatory, in psychology, business, or another relevant field.
