Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and assemble menu items following established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation tasks.
- Manage customer orders with care, ensuring timely service and upselling where appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines throughout your shift.
- Process cash transactions accurately, including handling cash register operations and retail sales transactions.
- Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to uphold health regulations and ensure food safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen safety is a plus.
- Experience with food preparation, operating kitchen equipment, or grocery store work is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
