Duties
- Manage inventory control using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accurate stock levels and order fulfillment
- Assist customers with retail sales, providing product knowledge and offering solutions tailored to their automotive needs
- Coordinate and execute parts deliveries efficiently, ensuring timely arrival at customer locations or service centers
- Handle cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, maintaining accurate records of transactions
- Support automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance tasks by providing necessary parts.
- Maintain organized stockrooms, ensuring proper stocking procedures and cleanliness for easy access and safety
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone etiquette, offering clear information about orders, services, and delivery schedules
- Utilize organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deliveries, and ensure smooth workflow throughout the day
- Engage in dealership or retail sales activities, leveraging marketing insights to promote parts and services effectively
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive repair or automotive service environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with inventory management tools such as CMMS or similar software systems
- Experience in retail sales or dealership settings with familiarity in POS systems and retail math calculations
- Excellent communication skills coupled with negotiation abilities to enhance customer satisfaction and sales outcomes
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control, order fulfillment, and maintenance tasks
- Prior experience handling cashiering, cash handling, or retail math is desirable
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting purposes
