American Traveler is hiring a CT Scan Technologist (Outpatient) with a minimum of 2 years of clinical CT experience, including trauma, for a 13-week travel contract at an outpatient imaging center in Reno, NV.

Outpatient imaging center setting in Reno, NV

Handles ER, inpatient, and outpatient CT workflow coordination
-
Patient population includes neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
-
Cases include trauma, stroke, code aorta, and routine outpatient imaging
-
Proficiency required with CT scanning equipment and contrast injecting equipment
-
Epic EMR used; training provided during orientation or candidates may test out
-
Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, rotating between Saturday, Sunday, and a rotating weekday

No call required

Travelers may be required to float to other areas within their competency level

Minimum of 2 years of clinical CT experience required

Trauma experience required

Travel experience required

ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required

Active Nevada Medical Radiography license required (license required if applicable)

AHA BLS certification required within 60 days of hire

Produce diagnostic CT scans and assist the radiologist in diagnostic CT scan procedures, including IV contrast administration under radiologist direction

Responsible for QC monitoring and coordination of daily CT workflow

Facility is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, treating over 80,000 ER and trauma patients annually
-
Minimum of 2 major holidays required

No blocked scheduling allowed

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to consideration; the facility does not extend contracts to compensate for RTO

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

A 13-week break is required before a returning traveler can begin a new contract at this facility
