Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving roles, including shuttle driving, delivery driving, and commercial driving. This position requires excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to safety. The Driver will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from medical facilities in the greater Houston area.This is an independent contract position where you will be using your own car. Duties
- Operate vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide shuttle services for passengers to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and any changes.
- Document any incidents or issues that arise during transport for reporting purposes.
- Contact customers the evening before to verify information and time of pickup.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a driver in shuttle services, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with passengers and clients.
- Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with paratransit services is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Your vehicle should be 2014 or newer. Yes as said above, you will be using your own vehicle.
