Job Responsibilities of the School Cook:
-
Assist with delivering high quality, nutritious food service for early childhood center children
-
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen

Ensure materials and equipment are kept in a safe fashion in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements

Adhere to Colorado Adult Child Food Program (CACFP) requirements

Communicate with coworkers and families in a warm and professional manner

Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older

HS/GED (preferred)

Speak, read, write and interpret written materials and oral information in English

Reliable transportation as this position will float from center to center as needed.

1 year prior institutional cooking experience (preferred)

Experience with the Child and Adult Care Food Program / CACFP (preferred)

Math skills to meet position requirements

Pass CBI background check and post-employment medical examination
