We are seeking an experienced Personal Care Home Administrator / Admissions Director to oversee the daily operations of our Personal Care Home while directing admissions for both our Personal Care Home and Skilled Nursing Facility.

You will play a vital role in ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and occupancy growth across both levels of care.
Position Summary:
The Personal Care Home Administrator / Admissions Director is responsible for the overall management of the Personal Care Home while serving as the Admissions Director for both the Personal Care Home and Skilled Nursing Facility. This position oversees facility operations, ensures compliance with Pennsylvania regulations, manages admissions, develops referral relationships, and works collaboratively with clinical leadership to maintain high occupancy and exceptional customer service.
Essential Responsibilities:
Personal Care Home Administrator
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the Personal Care Home.
- Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
- Supervise staff while fostering a positive, resident-centered culture.
- Maintain quality assurance programs and oversee regulatory readiness.
- Develop staffing plans and monitor departmental budgets.
- Promote resident satisfaction by addressing concerns and enhancing quality of life.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and employees.
- Collaborate with leadership to achieve operational and financial goals.
Admissions Director (Personal Care & Skilled Nursing)
- Manage all admissions for both the Personal Care Home and Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective residents, families, hospitals, physicians, case managers, and referral sources.
- Coordinate referrals, clinical reviews, insurance verification, and admissions from inquiry through move-in or admission.
- Conduct facility tours and educate families on available services and levels of care.
- Work closely with nursing leadership to ensure appropriate admissions and timely bed availability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physicians, senior service agencies, and community organizations.
- Implement marketing and outreach strategies to increase census across both service lines.
- Maintain accurate admissions data, referral tracking, occupancy reports, and marketing metrics.
- Represent the organization at networking events, healthcare meetings, and community outreach programs.
Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania Personal Care Home Administrator License (required).
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of leadership experience in senior living, long-term care, assisted living, personal care, or skilled nursing.
- Previous admissions, marketing, or business development experience in long-term care preferred.
- Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, private pay admissions, and long-term care regulations.
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania Personal Care Home regulations.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
