Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – School-Based (1:1 Role)
Location: Near Scott Township, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:15 PM

Duration: Remainder of the 2025–2026 School Year
Pay Rate: $23-$25/HR
Job Overview:
We are currently hiring a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time, 1:1 school-based role at the middle school level near Scott Township, PA. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with students who require individualized medical support throughout the school day.
Key Details:
- Setting: Middle school special education classroom
- Caseload: One-on-one student assignment (exact student TBD)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of school year (June 2026)
- No bus riding required; students arrive via van services
- Toileting assistance is required
Potential Student Needs May Include:
- G-tube care, hydrocephalus monitoring, seizure precautions
- Tracheomalacia, metabolic encephalopathy
- Down syndrome, hypothyroidism, constipation, mobility impairments
- Use of BLE braces, gait trainers, wheelchairs
- Non-verbal or limited mobility students requiring full support
- Soft diet, gluten-free, food prep, nebulizer use
- Parents may request consistent nurse assignment
You’ll be part of a supportive educational team, working alongside teachers and staff who engage students in both group and individualized learning activities.
Requirements:
- Valid Pennsylvania LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- Pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required
- Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable with toileting care
