Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering inquiries using excellent phone etiquette
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of merchandise
- Maintain attractive product displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
- Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and organizing stockroom supplies
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts when necessary
- Ensure the sales area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Requirements
- Prior retail sales experience preferred; familiarity with clothing preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and perform product demos confidently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Supervising experience is advantageous but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
