Position: Line Cook

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Head Chef and Line Lead, the Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines. - Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Set up and stock assigned workstations with necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations throughout each shift.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Monitor food quality and report any concerns to kitchen leadership.
- Properly store, label, and rotate food products using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.
- Help with prep work, cleaning duties, and closing tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe).
