Overview
We are looking for a motivated, dependable Equipment Operator/Restoration Technician to join our growing team. This is an outdoor, hands-on position focused on improving wildlife habitat through forestry, invasive species management, native grass establishment, prescribed fire, and food plot installation.

Responsibilities
- Operate ASV forestry mulchers for invasive tree and brush removal.
- Operate tractors, skid steers, Kubota UTVs, seed drills, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Install CRP seedings, native prairie plantings, and wildlife food plots.
- Perform chainsaw work for timber stand improvement and habitat enhancement.
- Apply herbicides using backpack sprayers and UTV-mounted sprayers.
- Assist with prescribed burns, including firebreak preparation, ignition, and mop-up.
- Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials.
- Follow all safety procedures while working around equipment, chainsaws, chemicals, and fire.
- Work closely with crew members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Tractor operation
- Skid steer or ASV operation
- Chainsaw operation
- Prescribed fire
- Herbicide application
- CRP establishment or native prairie restoration
- Wildlife habitat management
- Food plot installation
- Forestry or land management
- Knowledge of deer behavior, habitat improvement, and hunting trends
A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required. We provide paid CDL training for the right candidate.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
