Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Office Manager to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities
- Supervise all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to optimize productivity and patient satisfaction
- Manage financial activities such as budgeting, billing, coding, insurance claims processing, and fiscal management to ensure profitability and compliance
- Oversee Dental administrative support functions, including Dental records management, Dental terminology accuracy, and adherence to HIPAA regulations
- Lead human resources initiatives by recruiting, training, supervising staff, and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks to maintain accurate patient data and streamline clinical workflows
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with dental practitioners and other healthcare professionals to facilitate acute care and dental clinic services while maintaining high-quality patient care standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare management with strong supervisory skills
- Extensive knowledge of Dental office procedures, billing practices, and Dental terminology
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic or similar platforms
- Strong fiscal management skills encompassing budgeting, financial reporting, and managed care processes
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical records management to ensure confidentiality and compliance
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively within a fast-paced clinic environment
- Prior experience with office management software and medical administrative support tools is highly desirable
- Background in dental clinic experience or healthcare settings such as acute care or hospital environments is preferred
