EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position supports the safe operation of motor vehicles across the Commonwealth by evaluating driver readiness and ensuring accurate processing of customer documents and transactions. As a Driver License Examiner, you will perform the following duties:

Testing Oversight: Conduct vision, knowledge, pre-trip, skills, and driving tests for non-commercial and commercial applicants

Vehicle Evaluation: Review vehicle condition and verify that required equipment and safety features meet standards

Document Examination: Assess identity documents and applications for authenticity and signs of fraud

Customer Processing: Assist customers with licensing services, test results, applications, and issuance of products

Fraud Prevention: Access systems to verify identities and prevent the creation of false or duplicate records

Compliance Support: Follow all REAL ID, customer service, fee waiver, and Title VI requirements without exception

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Work overtime and travel to other Driver License Centers when needed

Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
