Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
- Monitor residents’ health status and document observations diligently.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide compassionate patient-centered care tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Assist with activities of daily living and ensure comfort and safety.
- Educate residents and families about health conditions and treatments.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in crisis situations.
- YOU MAY HAVE TO WORK THE FLOOR AS AN AIDE
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the US.
- Proven experience in long-term care or nursing home settings.
- Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Compassionate attitude towards elderly residents.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols.
- BLS certification preferred.
