Job Description: We are looking for an Intermediate/Unlimited Electrician performs installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical power, lighting, communications, and control systems, including large‑scale commercial and residential to include new electrical panels, new circuits, 3-phase circuits, single phase, and resilient electrical upgrades. Electricians in this category ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
We are dedicated to customer satisfaction and need an experienced residential/commercial electrician with the following requirements:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Plan and lay out electrical installations, including feeders, branch circuits, conduit routing, and load calculations.
- Install and terminate switchgear, distribution panels, transformers, and large‑capacity service equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and project specifications to determine electrical requirements.
- Diagnose and repair electrical system problems using testing equipment such as ammeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure all work meets electrical codes and safety hazards.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or code violations and ensure compliance.
- Install conduit systems (EMT, rigid, PVC), pull wire, and complete device terminations with precision.
- Provide cost estimates, material lists, and project documentation.
- Lead crews, ensuring safe and efficient work practices.
Job Skills:
- PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED Unlimited Electrical License (state‑issued; allows unrestricted electrical contracting).
- Intermediate-level experience required.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and safety practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent field experience (typically 4+ years).
- Thorough knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70) and local electrical codes.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems, including three‑phase power and control circuits.
- Strong problem-solving skills and reliability
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening (common employer requirement).
Physical Requirements: Must have physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing, lifting, trenching, and working in confined spaces. Ability to stand and kneel for long periods of time.
