We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team In Foster. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. . The Medical Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient operations within the clinic or hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and manage patient documentation
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and assist with specimen collection
- Provide exceptional patient service, addressing concerns and answering questions
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Skills
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks and EHR systems
- Experience in outpatient settings and/or clinic experience,
- Basic life support certification is required; additional certifications in areas such as PICU or OR experience are a plus
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient care and service excellence
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while managing multiple tasks efficiently
