Position Summary
The
Account Executive (AE) is responsible for driving new business revenue for LCPtracker by selling SaaS solutions to
B2B and B2G customers, including public agencies, prime contractors, and enterprise organizations. The AE owns the full sales cycle—from discovery through close—by engaging stakeholders, understanding complex compliance and operational needs, delivering value-based product demonstrations, and closing new business. This role consistently meets revenue targets while navigating multi-stakeholder buying processes common in regulated and public-sector environments. The AE is supported by a
dedicated SDR team and marketing-led demand generation, allowing focus on opportunity management, solution positioning, proposals, and closing. The role operates within a collaborative, team-based selling model alongside SDRs, Marketing, and Customer Success. Comprehensive training on LCPtracker’s SaaS platform, products, and sales processes is provided.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Execution & Pipeline Management

Own the full sales lifecycle for assigned accounts and vertical markets

Qualify inbound leads and opportunities generated by SDR and Marketing teams

Prospect and develop new opportunities through targeted outbound efforts when needed

Conduct virtual and in-person product demonstrations

Manage objections, negotiate pricing and terms, and close new business

Prepare proposals, quotes, contracts, and RFP responses

Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets
Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Build trusted relationships with prospects, customers, and key decision-makers

Understand client business, compliance requirements, budgets, and timelines

Serve as primary sales contact for assigned accounts throughout the sales cycle

Support renewals and identify upsell and expansion opportunities

Ensure a smooth handoff to implementation and customer success teams
Collaboration & Strategy

Work closely with SDRs, Marketing, and Account Managers

Partner with Marketing on campaign execution, trade shows, and lead generation

Own and execute sales strategy for assigned vertical markets

Maintain accurate sales data, forecasts, and activity tracking in Salesforce
Product & Industry Expertise

Develop deep expertise in LCPtracker’s SaaS product suite

Stay current on labor compliance, prevailing wage, and public works requirements

Represent LCPtracker at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Travel

Travel to client sites, conferences, and company events as required

This position performs its duties from the New Braunfels, TX office. The role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, mobile devices, and related technology.
Physical Requirements
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to type, scroll and use computer equipment. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer and multiple screens; extensive reading; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms. Ability to lift up to 25lbs (e.g. tradeshow setup).
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position. Days and hours worked are dependent on business needs and workload. General availability during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, is expected. Based on the candidate and /or position, a hybrid work arrangement may be considered; however, a minimum of three (3) or more days per week in the office is required to support executive collaboration, leadership presence, and cross-functional engagement. Some flexibility is allowed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This is a requirement for this position. This role requires approximately 50% travel, including regular client visits, attendance at industry conferences, trade shows, and other business-related events. Attendance at our corporate Staff Retreat is required. This event is a 2-3-day retreat. Attendance at our User Conference as assigned.
Salary Range
The base salary range for this role is $55,000 to $75,000 annually, plus a competitive, performance-based sales commission plan. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base pay and commission, the total compensation package may include eligibility for additional benefits and programs offered by LCPtracker. Specific details regarding compensation and benefits will be provided at the time of offer.

Education & Experience

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred

3-5 years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in B2B and/or B2G environments

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas

Experience selling into regulated or compliance-driven industries strongly preferred
